Original Hand-Drawn Guardian Lion Compositions

Every Komainu illustration is created in-house by Dsign Crtel rather than sourced from stock graphics or existing tattoo flash. Expressive faces, curled manes, powerful limbs and protective stances are developed through detailed linework and layered framing influenced by traditional Japanese guardian imagery and Irezumi composition. The artwork is arranged as commanding back prints, with selected designs including a smaller coordinating chest detail.

Mid-Weight 320 GSM Cotton-Blend Fleece

Each sweatshirt is made from 320 GSM CVC fleece containing 80% cotton and 20% recycled polyester. Its smooth cotton-facing outer surface provides a stable foundation for reproducing intricate outlines, layered colour and tonal shading while retaining the natural flexibility of the fleece. The mid-weight construction provides comfortable warmth without the hood, pocket or heavier structure of the 350 GSM hoodie range.

Relaxed Drop-Shoulder Crewneck Fit

A relaxed body and dropped shoulders create an easy streetwear silhouette with room through the upper frame. The uninterrupted back provides a clean canvas for large Komainu artwork, while ribbing at the neckline, cuffs and hem adds structure around the looser proportions. Pre-shrunk construction helps minimise unexpected shrinkage, although checking the measurements on each product page is recommended before selecting your size.
