Japanese hoodies featuring original artwork influenced by traditional Japanese tattooing and Irezumi composition. Designs combine motifs such as dragons, koi, tigers, samurai and demons with flowing clouds, water, waves and other background elements that give the artwork its layered, movement-driven character.
The artwork in this collection draws from the visual structure of traditional Japanese tattooing, where the main subject is supported by background elements that create movement and flow. Dragons, koi fish, tigers, samurai, demons and other Japanese motifs are surrounded by clouds, waves, water, wind and layered framing influenced by Irezumi composition rather than presented as isolated graphics.
Each illustration is developed in-house for the garment, with the composition built around how the artwork sits across the front or back of a hoodie. Large motifs are balanced with surrounding Japanese tattoo elements to create depth, direction and a stronger sense of movement across the print.
The collection is united by Japanese tattoo imagery, folklore and composition. Some pieces focus more heavily on waves and clouds, while others place greater emphasis on the central motif, allowing the collection to range from strongly Irezumi-influenced compositions to more contemporary Japanese graphic artwork.
